Conventional ball valves protrude out from the vessel sidewall, resulting in excess area within the valve inlet for fluid to stagnate (remain in the valve after draining). This is eliminated with the TANK-FLUSH design which has a shortened inlet connection to enable complete drainage.
The inlet connection is designed to be welded to the vessel and the outlet connection can be any one of the following connection types:
150# RF ANSI flanged
PTFE cavity fillers can be added, which fills the area between the ball and valve body to minimize trapped fluid which results in a more sanitary design.
The integral actuator mounting pad makes mounting an actuator easy.
